Role Overview:
As a Social Media Content Writer at Gloocal Communications, you will be responsible for creating engaging and original content across various social media platforms. You’ll work closely with our digital marketing and creative teams to ensure that the content aligns with brand messaging and helps achieve our clients’ marketing goals. Your writing should capture the voice of each brand, resonate with the target audience, and drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

•  Write, edit, and proofread social media posts, captions, and stories across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more.
• Develop creative content ideas and campaigns tailored to each client’s brand and audience.
• Create content calendars and plan posts in alignment with marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Produce a variety of content formats including text, images, and basic video scripts.
• Ensure all content is optimized for SEO and social media algorithms.

Brand Voice & Messaging:

• Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all social media channels for each client.
• Work closely with clients and account managers to understand brand messaging and ensure it is effectively communicated through social media content.

Engagement & Trends:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
• Monitor social media channels for trending topics and opportunities to engage with audiences in real-time.
• Encourage audience engagement through interactive and compelling content.

Performance Analysis:

• Track and analyze content performance using social media analytics tools.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on performance data to optimize future content.
• Report on social media content performance to internal teams and clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in social media content writing or digital marketing.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
• A creative mindset with the ability to generate original and engaging content ideas.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and understanding of what makes content effective on each.
• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and how it applies to social media content.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
